||•Psalm 4: 6-7•||
Offer the right sacrifices and trust in the Lord.
Many are asking,
“Who can show us any good?”.
Let the light of your face shine upon us O Lord.
You have filled my heart with greater joy that when their grain or new wine abound.

A timely verse to remind us to call on the Lord for relief in our distress, that he may be merciful to us and hear our prayers.
And even when we are angry at times with our situation, he calls us to examine our hearts in silence, knowing that there is peace in silence as we examine our hearts in the light of his word, that there is peace in him alone even in the chaos of our hearts.
And the next verse that follows reminds us that life is not always about convenience and joy but more than that it is about sacrifices, the offering of right sacrifices to the Lord. And as we do our calling, we realized that our bodies are living sacrifices to the Lord as we obey his calling. And as we obey his calling, he calls us to trust in him because our reward is in the Lord. It is the Lord Christ we are serving. We can do our best when we know our Master because He alone enables. He renews our strength.

In moments when it is so hard to see the good, we are reminded that in the face of great sacrifice and disaster, the light of his face is more than enough to give us greater joy than when their grain and wine abound. It reminds us that indeed the joy of the Lord is our strength.
And lastly, amid all the chaos of the world and in our hearts, he reminds us that he alone gives us peace and makes us dwell in safety in this time of uncertainty.🍂
