“When I am afraid,
I will trust in You.”
Fear surrounds us. We fear for our lives. We fear for the lives of our loved ones and friends especially when they are part of the frontliners.
We fear for our community. We fear for our country. We fear for the world.
We fear that we may run out of resources, so we sometimes hoard. Between preparation and lack, between hoarding and enough, only God fully knows our circumstances. Only God knows what we need and how much we need.
In these times of doubt and despair, He is calling us to trust Him as we put our hope in Him. No one knows yesterday, today and tomorrow better than the Lord. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and He carries us through. And even the bad things, he can use it for the good.
As we prepare for our needs, He calls us to put our trust in Him. He call us to put our hope in Him. And when we are afraid of our circumstances and when darkness surrounds us, His presence will be our Light and He will say,
“It is I; do not be afraid.”
